Handy Dandy Dance Moves

Time for another article to help you with the quickly approaching Sadie's Dance!

You're having a blast at the dance when all of a sudden, a dance circle forms. You try to remain at the outside of the circle but end up getting jostled to the inner section. One of your friends (are they really your friend anymore?) pushes you into the center. Everyone is cheering for you. You feel your palms begin to sweat and your throat begins to dry. And is it just you, or did someone turn on the heat? When your vision begins to blur, and the crowd starts to boo, you know you need to decide; what move will you pull out?

While some people would run as quickly as they could while crying and feeling their face begin to turn "the burgundy on my t-shirt when you splashed your wine into me", others would use this as their moment to shine. Cali would pull out a "hip-hop/rap hand movement thingy." I just know the crowd would go wild for that. Bianca says, "I would do the whip and nae nae because it gets all of the sexy people."

"It gets all of the sexy people." -Bianca's great advice

We thank you Bianca for that wonderful bit of info, I'm sure we'll all keep that in mind for the rest of our lives. In my deepest regrets the rest of this article is going to be more serious than the beginning. These one-word answers just keep hitting us hard. Certain words can hold a copious amount of meaning. Before I go on to why this is such an impactful dance move, I'll let you know what it is. This way, you'll understand the seriousness of this topic. Here we go:

"Gwiddy"

Now that you can truly comprehend the seriousness of the topic let's move on. If you're in an awkward conversation... hit the griddy. If you're in trouble... hit the griddy. If you get stranded on an island... you guessed it, hit the griddy. If someone breaks up with you, don't cry just hit the griddy. The griddy is like the universal language, a way to connect with anyone.

This blog has been more serious than I wanted. However, now you know how to be a dance star everyone will love. I hope to see all ya'll at the Sadie's Dance pulling out these dance moves, it really would be the kindest thing to do. And you know what we say... Eat People with Kindness!
